In the midst of exacerbated tensions in the seemingly insoluble Israeli/Palestinian conflict, it's amazing to read that the IRA is decommissioning its weapons (or at least some of them). It's hard to appreciate with all this other stuff going on, but this is a remarkable, *remarkable* achievement by all concerned.
